Master of Public Administration: Human Resources Management Concentration

With a diverse range of responsibilities that can include hiring the right people for the right positions, working through conflict, and leading people with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, managing human resource functions can be challenging. For human resources leaders and top executives in both the public and private sectors—and for those who aspire to those positions--this concentration focuses on best practices across a wide variety of typical HR scenarios and applications.

Master of Public Administration graduates who choose this concentration will learn how to promote positive change and help individuals and teams realize their full potential within various types of organizations. Coursework covers labor/management relations, management of a diverse workforce, conflict resolution and effective recruitment, training and development of employees.
